This piece is a second meaning there are slight flaws in the work BUT it is functional. It's weird because I want the work to look like it's cracking and broken but only when I make it so. There are pics of the flaws posted so you can see.This wood fired highly textured and facetted Handle Straw Cup holds 10oz. the straw is a hollow functional part of the piece and adds an additional level of complexity to making it. The action from the flame and wood ash in this firing was fantastic on this piece. There is a contrast of the colors used to the deposits of ash and flame.
