Gourd shaped vase
This gourd shaped bud vase range in size from 4”X4”X4” to 4.5”X4.5”X3.5”. Could be used for many objects from pencils to chopsticks or dried flower arrangements with simple surface design to highlight what is contained. It is a pinched form and you can see my finger marks throughout the piece.
All were fired in my flex fuel recykiln to cone 1 with a soda vapor atmosphere giving the surface of the work dark and shiny in flashes. I appreciate how the firing process is a bit unpredictable. The kiln is made entirely from repurposed materials and fires small batches of work. Thanks for considering purchasing as all proceeds from my shop go to support my studio practice!
